Cafe Tehroon
About This Spot
Stepping into Cafe Tehroon is like crossing a threshold into a gentle pause from the city’s hum. Nestled quietly within the charming alleys of Tehran’s Enghelab Street, the café emanates a warm, familiar vibe that feels at once timeless and tender. The pace here is unhurried, encouraging guests to linger over soft lighting and nostalgic décor that quietly nods to memories of childhood homes and simpler days.
This is a cozy café where time slows and conversation blooms over thoughtfully prepared traditional flavors and comforting beverages. The air carries the subtle aroma of saffron-infused tea and freshly brewed coffee, inviting visitors to unwind. Here, familiar Iranian classics are served with care—each dish and drink unfolding like a small story of home. The gentle notes of sharbats and the softness of traditional ice creams mingle with the savory warmth of omelettes and freshly toasted cheeses, creating a harmony that resonates with those seeking both taste and comfort.
The atmosphere is shaped not only by its vintage design but also by the sincere kindness of the staff who move with a quiet attentiveness, making every guest feel seen and at ease. It’s a space where memories weave through the experience, and the moments linger longer than the visit itself.
If you find yourself craving a refuge that tastes like a heartfelt embrace—where the familiar is celebrated and the soul of Tehran hums softly behind the scenes—Cafe Tehroon offers that rare kind of refuge. A place to return to, again and again, when the world outside asks for a little more comfort, connection, and calm.

This cafe is one of the best cafe that I have tried. At first, about the atmosphere, it was great and you should go there as soon as possible. And about the service, their waitress are really polite and kind. Generally i love here and if you like the old age design you can go there.

After a long time, I went back to Café Tehroon. I was feeling down from the Saturday evening blues, but this place feels like grandma’s house. Whenever we miss the days of our childhood, I recommend coming here.

if you’re looking for a cozy spot that takes you back to the charm of old Tehran, this coffee shop is a must-visit. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Each room is uniquely designed with a rustic touch, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere. I tried the omelet, which was delicious, but the bread could be improved—serving it warm would elevate the experience. Overall, a delightful place for a relaxing visit

A nice and cozy cafe in downtown Tehran. The atmosphere is good and nostalgic. You can seat inside or in the yard. The breakfast was delicious and the portions were enough. The price was reasonable as well. Because of the location, it might be difficult to find a parking spot during the week. But it’s okay on the weekends!
